Meet Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel—the owner of Simply Sorted by RH. For more than a decade, I cared for others as a registered nurse, where compassion and service were at the center of everything I did. After stepping back to focus on my family and welcoming my miracle baby girl, I followed my heart and turned my lifelong love of organization into a business.

Organizing has carried me through some of life’s hardest seasons, giving me peace and stability when things felt overwhelming. I know that for many people, tackling their space can feel the same way—overwhelming, emotional, and sometimes even a little vulnerable. That’s why I bring a completely judgment-free mindset to every project. I’m here to support you wherever you’re at in your journey, with empathy, care, and practical systems that work for your life.

For me, it’s not just about tidy spaces—it’s about creating calm, comfort, and the feeling of being cared for. Now I get to share that gift with others, helping families and individuals feel supported, proud, and at home in the spaces that matter most.

My Process

My Process

01 - Consultation

We meet in your home to discuss your space, your routines, and your goals.

02 - Estimate

I'll provide a clear estimate with options (with or without bins/containers or new tools).

03 - Sort & Edit

I’ll empty the space, sort items into zones (keep, donate, toss) and bring you in for a quick review.

04 - Organize

Items are placed back in a way that works for your everyday life—functional is our goal.

05 - Enjoy

Relax knowing everything has its place, and your space supports the way you live.

I believe in simple, sustainable systems that fit your life—not picture-perfect setups that are impossible to maintain.

Purpose & Process FAQs

  • While I am not a cleaning service, please don’t worry about tidying, organizing, or putting things away before I arrive. My focus is on sorting, editing, and creating systems that make your space functional and easy to maintain. As part of the process, I may lightly wipe down a shelf or drawer before placing items back, but I don’t provide deep cleaning services like vacuuming, scrubbing, or dusting. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are—judgment-free—and help create a space that feels calm and supportive.

  • That’s up to you. Some clients love being hands-on, while others prefer to come home to a surprise reveal. Either way, I’ll treat your items with respect.

  • Right now, I serve Sioux Falls and the surrounding 30-mile area. If you’re outside that range, still reach out—we may be able to work something out.

  • I can provide donation and trash removal for an additional fee, or you’re welcome to handle that part yourself.

  • Only with your permission. Client confidentiality is a top priority, and I never disclose locations or details.

No two homes—or families—are alike, and neither are the organizing projects I take on. Some clients call me in for a single cupboard refresh, while others need a full-home transformation. That’s why I create custom quotes based on your space, your goals, and your budget. Big or small, I’ll tailor the process to fit your needs so you feel supported every step of the way.
